I’ve been having fun doing a bunch of walks around Wellington recently, and this weekend went out to south Wairarapa with some friends to go exploring.
The Putangirua Pinnacles are definitely worth a visit, and when you’ve gone that far, you may as well continue to Cape Palliser at the southern tip of the island.
There is a long, narrow, steep staircase to get up the lighthouse, and we decided to run up it. Why? Well I was asking myself the same thing once I reached the top and my legs felt like jelly!
