I am going to Sri Lanka in August with Habitat for Humanity to be a part of the Global Village “Reconciliation Build”.

Sri Lanka is a country on the mend after three decades of civil strife, conflict and natural disasters including the 2004 tsunami. Hundreds of thousands of homes were destroyed. Habitat for Humanity works to promote reconciliation between Sinhalese, Tamil and Muslim communities, and to assist those who have been displaced and those seeking to return home.
