A few photos of our very happy herb garden at “the fortress”. It all grows in rather a rambling manner within the bounds of the vege patch, but I like to think that just gives it some rustic charm. We have sage, thyme, rosemary, oregano, basil and a couple of other things – including the most fanstastic mint (which I forgot to photograph). The mint grew from a cutting and has spread out and up beautifully. I have even noticed that it has sent out roots into the lawn!
